Lily's Nursey

I am so excited that Lily's nursery is finally done!  I wish I could take all the credit, but I had an amazing interior designer come in to help me finish out everything.  I had the furniture, just wasn't sure where to go with it.  She listened when I told her what I wanted and I never imagined it would turn out like this.  I am so thankful for all of her help.  Now, all I need is my sweet girl to be here and it will fill complete.  I can't wait to meet you Lily!!  I love you so much already!

38wks Appointment

Doctor's appointment went well.  Lily and I are both doing fine.  However, there has been no progress.  No dilation or anything so I go back next Thursday and if nothing has happened by then we will schedule an induction around 41wks.  We might have a Memorial Day Baby!!

I was hoping for something b/c I have been feeling awful.  Braxton Hicks contractions started and they are no fun.  If this is a preview of labor, I might be having my epidural sooner than later :-)

Where has all the time gone

I really wanted to keep up with this blog during the pregnancy, but wishful thinking!  So, since I am so close to my due date I thought I would try again.  I can't believe it is 13 days away!  I am so excited to meet our daughter and to have her here with us.  It is scary and exciting all at the same time.  I just ask God everyday for her health and to help me be the best mom I can be.

We have named her Lillian Alise and calling her Lily.  I have a doctor's appointment today.  Hoping for some good news!

I'm dreaming...of a white Christmas....

Michael and I exchanged Christmas presents last night and he is the best!  I got my Michael Kors purse I have been wanting and lots of fun stuff.  The Baby even thought I needed something and got me some presents that includes mommy massage foot creme.  Can't wait for those foot massages to start.  It was such a perfect night.  We made hot chocolate, watched the snow fall and what Christmas wouldn't be complete without watching Christmas Vacation!  I love these special nights with Michael and it makes it even more special considering he is hardly ever home.  I can't wait to add another person into the mix next year!

Speaking of another person..... I am 17 weeks and feel great.  Starting to have some stretching and I swear I think I feel the baby move, but who knows.  Something is going in there.  :-)  I officially look pregnant now which I am so excited about.  I took this picture last week.

I had an appointment last week and everything was fine.  Heartbeat was 145.  I begged the doctor for an Ultrasound, but no such luck.  We will find out the sex on December 30!!

11 WKS!

I had my first appointment with my OB/GYN last Wednesday.  Everything went great.  We did an ultrasound and lots and lots of bloodwork.  When the nurse brought out all those tubes I told her you better let me lie down. I think I will pass out.  Michael was in town and I was so glad he was able to go with me. They gave us a lot of information and I can't wait to get started on everything!  During the ultrasound he was moving around a lot.  At one point he turned around and faced us and we could actually see his facial features!!  It was the coolest thing.  We got a great profile shot.  Here is our little lime at 11wks 1day!

Our Journey Has Begun!!

Great News!!  My pregnancy test was positive and we are pregnant!!!  I am officially 10wks 2days today.  I have been released from my fertility doctor which was bitter sweet.  He has been amazing throughout this process and helped make our dreams come true.  I learned a lot through this journey.  One thing is that I like to have control more than I thought and it is hard for me to let go of that control.   God really showed me over the past 2 years that he is in control.  Once I gave myself to him, bam! I was pregnant!  How God works in mysterious ways :-)

I have been feeling pretty good.  Just really, really tired and nauseous.  That is starting to go away a little bit and now the crying spells, heartburn and indigestion have set in.  I haven't officially announced to everyone yet.  Just family and a few friends.  Only two more weeks and I can announce it!  I'm about to bust.

Our Journey #3

Time to get back on the baby machine.  After 7mnths of taking a break, Michael and I got back on the train.  He had surgery back in February and now his problem is AOK.  We started on Aug.16 with shots and finished with the 1st round of shots on Aug.30.

Here was what I had to do:  10cc Lupron morning and evening, 300units of Gonal-F and 150units(2vials) of Menopur in the evening.  The Menopur required mixing which was a pain, but the Gonal-F was like a pen so it was real easy to do.
